Sandals: to wear

Above are three photos of me wearing sandels. Two of the three photos are the same sandel and the other is different. The two sandels are my reef, black sandels and my silver old navy sandels.
These sandels work the best for my affected left leg, left ankle and left foot.

Sometimes; I do need to put my left foot and left ankle into the flip flop. I sit down on the floor in order to do this (floor level is at my level to ensure I can do all activities).
However with the thongs on these types of flip flops it is the easiest on my ablitity to walk. I love wearing these types of shoes/flip flops. I also live in Southern California and flip flops are an important pair of items to own. These type of flip flops are my first choice to wear now a days. (i.e. mainly my Reef, black flip flops).

I do not trip or loss my balance in these two pair of shoes. You can see the difference of my Reef shoes. I have owned the same pair, as pictured since 2007. Funny to think; these flip flops are still going strong!

The flip flops that I actually have the most trouble walking in are my Born and Naturalizer. I like these shoes but sometimes my feet slip out due to the amount of comfort and that they are thong flip flop shoes.

Advice:
Buy a pair of flip flops that are not hard to slip on and off with the thongs. If they are more difficult to put on and take a lot of time; imagine how you will walk in those. This tends to be my thought pattern now a days.  If you are looking for the best pair of shoes-look to my flip flops with backs. Those might be the best pair to start with. This way your flip flops will not come off.

Overall advice; I now buy shoes or flip flops that are for comfort and with a low heel to lower the risk of bringing or showing my limp. This is also to promote the ability for my left foot and left ankle not to come out and have a good time out with family and friends.
