Right Hand: First Photo on Blog: Significance

The Significance of the photo: It is my first birthday, "anniversary of my stroke" that I felt free to speak about my stroke. It was my 23rd birthday in 2005.  I started training that July of 2005 for my first marathon in the Orange County area with Training to End Stroke. Training to End Stroke was a group that ran marathons in support of stroke for the American Stroke Association: a Division of the American Heart Association.  I ran with the team from Irvine, CA. I drove to Irvine/Newport Beach every Saturday for six months straight. 2005-My birthday was on a Saturday. Therefore; this photo was taken at 5:30a.m.-6a.m. before my drive from San Diego to Irvine/Newport Beach.
