Graduate Degree: Business Administration

I attended the University of Phoenix from 2009-2011. I went to school to obtain my Master of Business Administration.

Undergraduate Degree: Hospitality

My undergraduate degree is from San Diego State University, 2006. I majored in Hospitality and Tourism Management with an emphasis in Attractions, Convention Services and Events.

2003: Woodstock: Hospitality and Tourism: Fundraiser

In 2003; I created a fund-raiser for the student association at Woodstock Pizza by San Diego State University. The amount raised from the event was around $100.00. Below is a copy of one of the flyers for the fund-raiser to support the student association.

1984: First public appearance: In-Uteri Stroke Survivor

The article below is the first time that my stroke was made public knowledge outside my family and friends. This photo is what the foundation collateral materials will reflect. The significance behind the collateral materials of the foundation are in reference to whom I was as a child growing up as a stroke survivor. This provides my personal connection to those who need information about in-uteri/pediatric stroke.  This informs those individuals that I was once in their shoes and can provide resourceful information on what worked and did not work.

Post Office Box: Mailing Address

Within the next two weeks; I will be opening up a post office box. This post office box will be posted through this blog post. The post office box will be posted at the bottom of the website to provide a reference of location and contact information to whom may need to know. This, at this point, will be the location to provide a donation; if you would like.

2005: Habitat for Humanity: Thank you Event

The Student Association at San Diego State University for the Hospitality Program held a thank you event for Habitat for Humanity. The event was held in March of 2005. The event was held at East Commons on the Campus of San Diego State University.

The event was to present the Organization Representative with a check of the funds we raised selling the Tsumani Relief Ribbon.

Fund-Raising Event 2005: Habitat for Humanity

I was the community relations chair for the San Diego State University Hospitality Student Association Program.

I created a ribbon for the Tsumani relief victims, family and friends. I made these homemade ribbons for the Hospitality Program's Student Association to support the new, at that time, San Diego Chapter of the Habitat for Humanity Organization.

The association sold these ribbons at the student union center, along with classes, and association meetings. The total raised was $250.00.

Fund-Raising Event: Ruby's: 2002

My second fund-raising experience event was at Ruby's for the Hospitality Student Association Program as the Volunteer / Community Relations Chair. This event went well with individuals donating 20% of the proceeds to our association. It went well. We raised about $100.00 again.

First Marathon: Training to End Stroke: Gift of Completion

Below is a gift from my family representing the completion of my first marathon with Training to End Stroke. The photos included are of me at the last six miles of the marathon. As you can see; I was still in high spirit and ready to run! I was dancing..... something; as though that know me; is a natural movement.

The letter enclosed is the acknowledgment letter from the American Heart Association; American Stroke Association. The acknowlegment letter addresses thanks to the participants, such as myself to fundraise for Training to End Stroke.

The letter also highlights the survivors that participated in the Training to End Stroke program. My name is one of them.
